And should I not have concern for the great city of Nineveh, in which there are more than a hundred and twenty thousand people who cannot tell their right hand from their left – and also many animals?
Jonah 4:11
Over 190,000 people live in the Greater Manchester borough of Bury. Greater Manchester has one of the lowest church attendances in the country, those 190,000 people are loved by God and they need to hear the good news of Jesus Christ. It has been wonderful, over the last few months, to meet and get to know gospel Christians seeking to reach those people, from many different churches. But everyone that I have met, has said that there is a great need for many more churches to reach the borough. Many churches to reach the whole of North Manchester. My prayer is that we can establish and new AMiE church in the borough of Bury to reach and serve the people in here. There are six town in the borough, but the real hub is the bury town centre, where people come to shop, to meet and carry out business. And it is the home of the famous Bury market. We want to plant a church to make disciples, to grow disciples, and to equip disciples in the town of Bury.
Christianity Explored is a great opportunity to find out more about Jesus and the Christian faith.
